(Amazon will be happy to know that barnesandnoble.com is at 104, one step ahead of sexmuseum, but behind the Washington Post.) A big surprise is Martha Stewart. Her personal homepage is #160. It's the most visted personal page (a site dedicated to an individual) www.marthastewart.com however is a homepage in the same way that anything Martha Stewart does. It's rather well done. It might be the nicest design I've ever seen: elegant, simple, and useful. Search engine rankings are also interesting: 01 Yahoo 02 Netscape (it's now a Yahoo clone) 04 Excite 05 Infoseek 08 Lycos 09 Altavista 12 four11 13 webcrawler 15 whowhere 21 hotbot Is Netscape a portal? Does anyone know what Netscape is anymore? They don't even promote their browser on their home page anymore. Poor Netscape.
