Modem maker Hayes Corp. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, saying it
will continue to operate while it looks
for additional funding.
The Norcross, Georgia company had announced a restructuring in August,
amid losses of $14.2 million. At the
time, the company said it planned to put its Norcross facility up for
sale and focus on cable modems and other
high-speed devices.
