Kinda incredible. Once upon a time, Hayes was the standard for modems.
Remember those words "Hayes-compatible"? Like "IBM-PC compatible"?

Modems certainly won't exist in 2-3 years. They're reached their maximum
speed. We'll go to cable, local fiber optic, or other forms by then.
