We've just finished at meep! a very long and excrutiatingly painful strategic review period. One of the things that we've decided to explore is further building out Buzzword Bingo for the purposes of selling it in the next four quarters. The internal rationale is this: while it's generated an ungodly amount of publicity (the meme's still strong five months, traffic is strong, we have a devoted audience of regulars, and most small businesses would kill for this kind of hype), it's also been a tremendous drain on resources which should be devoted to our core business: building Web sites for "direct" clients and for prime contractors. But the site/brand still has huge potential. In some respects, we face the same sort of situation that faced Icon CMT, the interactive agency which published Word as a side-project. Given that content sites are a dime a dozen (though our site is a bit more unique than most), what are five most important things that a media property purchaser would like for?
