you're right -- it *doesn't* look "solid" ie "boring" like most pcs!
which is why porches and vegas look different and appeal to different folks!
*I* think it's cute as hell -- i liked it the first time i saw a picture of
it and liked it even better when i laid hands and eyes on it this summer
(august?) when apple visited user groups around the country.
different strokes and all of that ...
