We switched to Rapid which is owned by hiway.com which was just
bought by best.com We love their service and have no complaints
at all. Excellent documentation library on many topics.
Excellent response times -- usually within 30-60 minutes and with
**correct** answers, not the fluff offered by others.
I think I mentioned this before but we tested their response when
we first switched and sent out a question (New Year's weekend --
late at night) to them and our previous hosting site (Netcom).
They answered within 30 minutes (correctly). Three days later
we got an answer from the other guys, and it was wrong (fluff).
Of course, I needed to really convince myself and my partners
that we made the right choice, so I pursued the correct answer at
N. Two weeks later we still didn't have the correct answer, and
I finally gave up.
BTW, the simple question was "How do I set the chmod permissions
using WS_FTP?" (I had forgotten and couldn't get anybody from my
office (too late at night).
