Wish you culd send some of that wet stuff our way. Our last significant
rain here in deep south Texas was last March. Add the smoke billowing up
from Mexico burning and the air has turned into a thick gray sludge that
shorts out the electrical wires and makes the locals cranky. (Tourists
don't care - they don't have a garden that needs to be watered twice
daily.) And no relief in sight.
I read in the most recent Harpers index that some guy named Al Nino who
lives in CA has received over 100 phone calls from people asking "why he's
doing this."
