Hi All:
All those who pooh-poohed "El Nino" back in August of last year as much
ado about nothing, say "Excuuuuuse meeee!". Today, San Francisco
surpassed the second rainiest season in it's history. More than 45
inches of rain since July 1, 1997. The normal season average is about
22 inches. Blub blub splish splash.
Regarding the "font face" tag, does anybody know which fonts are most
likely to be present on the widest range of computers? I'm just
finishing up a site done in Arial, and I really like the way it looks.
I'd like to try some other fonts for other sites. I know that there are
a lot of surfers who can only see their own native font, and that's
unfortunate. But I tend to use the latest html features, on the
assumption that everybody will eventually upgrade their computers and
software. Anyway, if anyone knows of any stats regarding the most
commonly available fonts, I would appreciate the info.
