I have been looking into the same issue. Basicially, there is no
.htaccess under NT. On an M$ ISS server, I can create a login for
pre-defined authorized users. Not a good solution.
I have been looking into what other alternatives are available and did
find a PERL script at http://www.scriptsearch.com/index.shtml that looks
as if it would work. However, I have never played with PERL and need to
do some book learnin' before playing!
