We use ACT regularly. Those who have ANY contact with the outside world record
their encounter in ACT. <g>. I like the concept by which everyone within
certain
groups can see information about clients, (existing and potential) and
check their 
status who called, emailed, dropped by, faxed and why, the nature of the
contact,
who responded...you get the idea. ACT allows users to automatically
synchronize
their databases, telephone, fax, use email, attach correspondences to
entries, 
link to hand-held devices, schedule meetings, reminders and such. You can also
create documents, record macros, generate reports.

The hardest part is to get everyone to use it.
