I have to help one of the clients get over the decision of whether to
have a splash page or not. (There is a somewhat valid reason here, as
we want to force the language choice decision.)
Anyway, assuming I have properly educated him on the pros and cons of
splash pages, and the best thing to do were to show him a half dozen
splash pages that achieved the best that a splash page can possibly
achieve (on the theory that he will still hate them, but if he hates the
best of them I can find for him, I can ensure he's very comfortable with
the decision) . . .
. . . then what might the four or five best splash pages be in this
group's opinion?
