I've been lurking in the background and nearly responded to
that last spam we had, which I thought was pretty hilarious as it
had absolutely no value, but it was pretty well taken care of by
others in the group, and also did not cause a major avalanche of
posts, so I guess this group has learned that the best response to
a spam is usually no response (other than banishment from the
list, which someone also took care of for me :)
This is and has been a great group for quite a while. This list has
been in existence for around three years (or is it 4, lost track), way
before the plethora of lists that now exists, and is different from
most lists in that it is a true small community. I like small
communities, run several of them, including a support group for
"Organic Acidemias", which is the disease my son suffered from. I
am still heartbroken and miss my son very much, and have
hibernated in work for the last four months to hide from the pain.
Sorry to blather on for so long, but I guess that's what happens
when one begins to come out of hibernation. It has been four
months but I still see and feel jason everywhere. Today, I went out
and got a tattoo on my upper arm (shoulder) area. An angel sitting
on a cloud,wavy brown hair curling down his forehead, smiling,
wearing sunglasses, knees crossed, wings spread, and
underneath, his name, Jason...he'll always be with me.
Yes Gerry, it is quite a gang, and thanks for being part of it.
