Yeah, that 18K "BladePro" image is a little much I guess... as noted in my 
original post, I put this together in a hurry, "caveat emptor" as it were, 
and didn't spend any time tweaking anything.  Most of the icons 
themselves are about 2-5K in size, a little more reasonable I'd say.  
Though still on the big side.

Haven't tried the ULead product yet, though I do run images through the 
GIF Wizard online utility occasionally.  I don't find that one makes a great 
difference, assuming I've taken some care creating and saving my images 
in the first place.  It might shave off 100 bytes here and there, that's 
about it.  Particularly since I upgraded to Paint Shop 5.0, I find my GIF 
images turn out pretty darn compact as it is, generally.  Except for that 
18K "BladePro" header :)
