Well, this is all a function of individual mail clients, of course... I haven't
seen any two that handle full/partial URLs, e-mail addresses, etc, exactly
the same.

Generally I find it easier and quicker to do a quick cut-and-paste of URLs,
or parts thereof, that I encounter in e-mail -- takes about .5 seconds,
and I find it more predictable than most mail clients' efforts to "second-
guess" what you're trying to do.

For instance, suppose a post referenced any of
"http://www.almonte.com", "www.almonte.com", or "almonte.com"... if I
highlight any or all of those and copy them into my browser's location box,
I'll get to my destination. But I'm never really sure how various mail
clients will deal with them.
