Yeah, this is a point I didn't really make clear in my earlier post: the 
quality of RealAudio is excellent *for the size of the file*, but it is not a 
full-spectrum sort of format as WAV and others are.  If you don't mind a 
20-meg download, then a WAV file will sound much better than the 
equivalent RealAudio one.  Though that's obviously not a realistic option in 
most cases.

Even at its best though, WAV is still pretty lame compared to many other 
"conventional" audio formats, IMO.  But then again, it *is* a Microsoft 
standard :)
