You might actually try installing qMail instead of sendmail.  It
has a built in list server and it can easily handle mail for
multiple domains (I have one box handling 22 different domains).
The mailing list manager (EZMLM - EaZy Mailing List Manager) can
handle autosubscription/moderated postings, etc.

Its much simpler to run qmail than sendmail too.  The control
constructs are less confusing.
