I am sure that the telcos are worried about cable.

I now know 2 people with RoadRunner (my boss and a co-worker); they 
both love it. 24x7.  You don't need to "dial-up" to connect; you can 
stay connected all the time.  The problem is now how fast their 
computer can process the data--not how fast they can get it. They get 
it very fast.  Time Warner has stated that worst case scenario  would 
be that you get better than ISDN.

Yet Time Warner does not market this. Or perhaps they think they 
are??

Of course this cable is two way.    Time Warner charges one-time $125 
setup; they give you an ethernet card if you need one and they SEND a 
man to your house to set you up!
