> E-PETITION: DOJ VS. MICROSOFT
> The little guy never gets heard, right? Wrong! The editors of
PC Computing just launched the official e-petition site so
you can make your voice heard in the landmark U.S. v
Microsoft antitrust case.

This kind of stuff is just ridiculous. PC Computing lets you "sign"
petitions both for and against. It's little more than a popularity poll. PC
Computing is trying to insert itself into the fray as somehow "significant."
DOJ will just ignore it, regardless of the result.
Anyone notice how irrelevant the major computer magazines have become? After
one of my web magazines merged into another, they converted my subscription
into BYTE for the rest of the subsription. BYTE is just a pale reflection of
its former self. Thinner, smaller, with lite articles. No long articles
anymore.
