What is "80H" that in generic email talk?  :-)

Euro guys said the written (trade)mark is EUR but this is going to be a
nightmare in those search strings, not to mention the spellcheck.  I would
love to deal with $��� which in easily printable, as if people use <graphics
off> mode, what do they use instead for a text symbol?  Has anybody done a
RFC on this?
