That is really pitiful. No wonder there is so much sloppy coding on the Web.

I don't have Opera, but does anyone know how strict it is?

BTW, this morning http://www.sprocketsandcogs.com/ fixed their background color, it is now black. But they did it be simply taking out the second duplicate <body> tag. So now the start of their homepage source looks like this:

Still no <html>, no <head>, and the <body> tag above the <title>. I am also amused that all the link colors are the same.

Who are these guys? They need to get a clue.
