Yep.  I regularly paddle by his house when I'm doing distance workouts
on the Brandywine, or when the river is high enough that the dam there
is runnable.  (It's not difficult, but it's high on the yeeeeeeha! factor.)
He's quite visible in and around town; often has breakfast
at Hank's Diner right down the road and across Route 1 from the
Brandywine River Museum, or at the Chadd's Ford Inn just down the road.

There are a lot of other artists in this area as well; plus a fair
number of stables and bits and pieces of various estates, all of which seem
to have belonged to people name "DuPont" at one point or another.
(Like Longwood Gardens, which was the family's summer residence
at one time; it's worth a visit if you're in the area.)

As a typical pony-tailed Unix hacker/whitewater kayaker with leftist
political tendencies and a penchant for loud music, it's a wonder
that they even let me live here. ;-)
