For credit card processing services, I used AuthorizeNet for around 8 months
(the site was recently pulled down). Anyway, here's some stuff to read:
http://www.authorizenet.net/AuthorizeNet.htm
I haven't looked at their site in a few months and the current version is
rather horrid, IMO, but the service and tech support was fine. I've dug
around in a few "prefab" "ecommerce" solutions, and found that a number of
them use AuthorizeNet, so I guess that their reputation is still OK (anyone
who can confirm?). I used their WebLink product.
