They seem to require that you give them the email address of someone 
who you think might also be interested. I just gave them another of 
my email addresses as I am curious to see what they would do 
(otherwise I would have given them one of their own).

I was in a meeting the other day when this same idea popped up.  The 
idea was that we should try and get people to sign up their friends.  
These are ideas from people who may think 20 emails are a lot.  I 
just don't like the idea of everyone asking for everyone else's email 
address. The "email this page to a friend" is okay because one friend 
is mailing to another. But when a 3rd party contacts you saying that 
...... saying what? and that is why I gave them a good email because 
I want to see how they do it.

But imagine if a telemarketer asked you to give the phone numbers of 
some friends .... I have never heard of that.

I wonder when more and more marketing departments really start to use 
the internet, what is going to happen.
