IMHO, even gratuitous use of mouseovers are OK as long as the images
that pop up bear absolutely no resemblance to a text menu (as the LHS
mouseover at this site does). DHTML is making pop-up menus very popular,
and it can be hard to tell the difference. When a mouseover image looks
like a menu, the tendency is to wander over and try to click -- but
D'oh! -- the image disappears before you can get over there (because
despite appearances, it was just a mouseover and was not made for
clicking). Very confusing...

PCDocs (which was its own entity prior, originating as a doc mgmt
solution for the legal sector) did merge with Fulcrum. But are you sure
about the WAIS lineage? I thought that was Brewster Kahle and the
"Alexa" group?
