The top nav bar illustrates exactly the problem I noted a couple of days
ago: the bgcolor and the graphic color are set to the exact same value
(#003399), but they are visibly different on my machine. The color in the
graphic is distinctly lighter.
This graphic should also not be a JPEG, which is not at all well-suited to
solid blocks of color with text on top. For one thing, it makes for a
*bigger* file than an equivalent GIF, and it also produces unpleasant
"spattering" in the areas around the text. I would clean up the spattering,
resave the image as a GIF, and also copy a square of blue from the
graphic and save it as your background image for that frame.
Also, the H & W attributes for the counter are set incorrectly, so that the
graphic is quite distorted.
Finally, I agree with Kathy's comment that a "text-only" version of a page
should surely not be framed or have graphics in it. Especially not
imagemap-navigation graphics.
Hope I'm not sounding too harsh, George old pal. I'm a tough critic :)
