Hi Barry, George and Brent
On my Mac, I can see what Brent is talking about but only if I turn the
brightness right up. Actually the colour in the graphic is slightly darker
for me. :) So I would not worry about the actual colour however, I
completely agree with the need to save it as a GIF rather than a JPEG. It
will help a lot with the distortions around the edges of the letters caused
by the JPEG algorithm and probably give a smaller file anyway. The colour
problem may "correct" itself in the new format.
I have had a similiar problem myself when I put a graphic element at one
end of a table row and the other end used just background colour so that I
could put in a dynamically generated menu system. The colours were
identical # but rendered differently.
