one inch equals 25.4 millimeters, so 3/4" is 19.05mm. as a programmer,
it's easy for me to remember the 25.4 thing, because 255 is an Important
Number for code geeks. if you're comfortable with the hex representations
of colors, as in the web CLUT, think of it as #FE. ;-)
