lovely site, btw ... and cool products. interesting - framed site for products +
database means when I did a web search for Rotring in December -- they didn't pop up.
[horrible search results, tried www.rotring.com - eureka - then had to call to find
US/WA retail out -- the university of washington bookstore]
gripes/oddities:
tested the shopping cart - was surprised at the "next" screen after I put an item in
the cart. it was another product -- a briefcase i had looked at, then backed up from.
strange. then i added the briefcase, but the cart added a second of my first item.
So i went to the cart & clicked "delete" the second item -- and then had no idea which
button to chose -- empty card, change shipping, calculate, place order -- calculate, i
guess. yes, that deleted the item.
btw - they have the Rocket eBook in stock.
three frames -- inconsistent 'visited link' response [color change] in left nav frame.
product-to-category is one-to-one, which is too bad. for example, the 2 pens and your
glasses leather case is shown only under 'leather' - even tho there are other leather
cases shown under 'pen & ink'.
anyway, pretty home page - interesting javascript.
