Hello,
Our accountant came up with a grand idea to enter time sheets via ...
via ... ah sort of logging in to this silent partner program that I
consider uh ... quite user unfriendly.
There must be some accounting program that interfaces with a RDBMS.
I wrote a program to allow people to enter time sheets via our
intranet but the accountant cannot tell me how he wants to receive
this data.
When I was looking for a marketing management system I found some
companies that wrote modules around a rdbms (and I recall one that
suggested using MS SQL but said that other rdbms could be used).
This seems a much better approach than using one program that seems
to be completely proprietary.
Does anyone have any ideas on this? I am really just curious. I
doubt anything will change here.
Peter
