Very good point.  It seems to me that if I were a spam distributor I 
would go straight to rs.internic.net/cgi-bin/whois/ for a little "one-
stop shopping", so to speak -- what better place to easily harvest  
thousands of names and addresses of qualified buyers for Web-related 
products and services?

So before flaming Internic I would be inclined to seek out their 
privacy statement, if any.  Should it turn out that they *are* 
selling customer data, however, I would be very cheesed indeed.
