Hi:

I was browsing a couple sites the other day and noticed some Javascript
that looked pretty familiar. Lo and behold I found that someone had
ripped off some Javascript that I had worked on for a client.

This made me thing, are there any mechanisms for protecting Javascript
code. I know you can put it in cab or jar files, but this is not going
to work with earlier browsers.

Has anyone ever faced this problem?

One thing that occured to me was to encrypt the Javascript and then
decrypt on the client's computer. Even something as simple as a rot13
would protect the code from prying eyes.

Any ideas?
