Its all well and good to have opinions about MS practices of using
proprietary stuff. But the fact of the matter is, there is some really cool
stuff that is JUST for IE cause NS doesnt WANT to support it. IE makes it
much easier to do some really cool stuff. Netscape on the otherhand parses
tables, code, and other things like crap. I prefer IE for its
functionality, its speed, and overal superiority over Netscape. If and when
NS starts decent support of CSS, can parse tables well, and decides to stop
formatting pages how it wants, I might switch. As far as why its the
standard, MS is the standard in the world as of now (not saying I like it),
IE is part of that family, so it only makes sense.
