Well, my nine-year-old is not exactly a "babe" anymore I suppose, and
she sure is a bright spark too... she has an especial fondness for
word-play, an affinity instilled by her old man I suspect :)
Anyway... she was sitting with me at the PC yesterday as we worked on
a school project together, when Windows suddenly popped up a message:
"Unexpected error, terminating application".
Erica looked at me with an expression of mock confusion, eyes
crossed, and said, "/Unexpected/ error?? Is there another kind?? I
mean, people don't usually *plan* to have computer problems, do
they?"
I promised I'd pass on her astute observations to Bill Gates
forthwith :)
