Reminds me of the error that use to plague me late at night on the IBM
360 back in... about 1970, destroying a whole night's work:
"Ixxx... Illegal Error"
An error that is not supposed to happen??? As opposed to errors that
are supposed to happen??? The staff would not believe me till I spent
half a night going through various manuals till I found the explanation.
Turns out it was an error during the error handling processes,
resulting in the loss of a pointer chain to the real error. Hence, it had
an illegal pointer.
