One of the ISPs here in seattle, http://www.oz.net/ , is bypassing the
phone company to provide DSL service.
I can't get the service with US West (too far from central office - 2.7
miles) but I can with oz.net and Covad
(http://www.oz.net/sense/covad/faq.html). Price is better, also ($65/mo for
354 access both ways ... $150 installation and $100 setup fee).
Anyone here familiar with this company (covad)?
