Connect for Kids Launches New Web Site and Round of Ad Council Public Service

New York, NY, March 9-The Benton Foundation, a Washington, DC-based
foundation focusing on communications in the public interest, unveiled a new
round of advertising that provides "guidance for grown-ups" who want to make
their communities work for kids and demonstrated the newly designed Web
site, http://www.connectforkids.org/, at a news conference held today at the Museum
of Television and Radio. Benton officials showed the new navigation and name
of this award-winning site that currently commands over 1 million hits per
month and links out to over 1,200 children's issues sites and 1,500
organizations nation-wide.
