Yes you are correct. There was something. But they were not selling
listings. I believe they were selling confirmation that they
evaluated your listing. They may not list it, but at least you will
know that they looked at it. And I think there was a time element
involved (like within 2 weeks).
This is a big complaint I had with Yahoo. I called them on this and I
did receive a phone call in return. I was irate that I would submit a
listing but I would never know whether they looked at it or not.
Except, of course, if they did accept it, then you would be notified.
I spent a lot of time (few hours) listing a few sites in all sorts of
categories. In the end all the sites were listed but they were each
in only one category (different from each ofther as they were
different sites).
Has anyone ever managed to get the same site listed at Yahoo in
different categories?
The one category actually turns out pretty good as most people
probably do a search rather than a drill, and in that case, the sites
will show up.
