OK, granted that they are in seattle and I am in seattle.
nevertheless, Monday afternoon (early PM) i placed an order for a book that
i wanted to check out for textbook for this webmaster 3 class i'm teaching
come april. confirmation: 14:15:15.
i had clicked the "one click" ordering - forgetting that I had it set up
for 'standard, ie 3-7 day' shipping. thought - darn, i'll be lucky to get
it by thursday.
Well= I get an e-mail timestamped 20:36 monday saying the order has been
shipped. and i got it TODAY. less than 24 hours after i placed the order.
WOW.
btw - the book was not available at local borders, UW bookstore or barnes &
noble.
