No, when I installed cyrus-imapd from RPM the user was
created automatically, user has uid 96 and belongs to mail group.
The password wasn't "secret", and
I changed it, and it still not working. In any case,
I thought the purpose of create
a local user is to own a process, I don't understand what
relationship with my problem it have.
If you find it useful, I can tell you that I am able to access
cyradm via command line.
I also have installed php-pear and php-mysql.
PD: I already know how to set crypted password in mysql with encrypt() function :-).
