I think you right!
On another machine it works O.K.
On local server senr e-mails just go to outbox folder.


On another matter:
SMTP work O.K. with SSL/TLS option on Security tab.

But when you check "Server requires authentication" on General tab, enter login 
and password, SMTP won't work and sent e-mail go to outbox folder. Is it a 
"good" option to use, and how to configure it?
My server isn't mail relay so what this option is good for?

No I'm quite sure that when you say KMail to use a mail server located at 
localhost, it doesn't use smtp, it only moves the mail to your inbox. So you 
don't see anything in the logs.
Try a KMail client which is not on the same machine.
