Hay, I think you right! On another machine it works O.K. On local server senr e-mails just go to outbox folder.
On another matter: SMTP work O.K. with SSL/TLS option on Security tab. But when you check "Server requires authentication" on General tab, enter login and password, SMTP won't work and sent e-mail go to outbox folder. Is it a "good" option to use, and how to configure it? My server isn't mail relay so what this option is good for? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Muenz, Michael Sent: Tuesday, July 19, 2005 10:20 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [Web-cyradm] Smtp problem > But I still think that there may be something wrong with my main.cf or > local smtp config. > Do you? No I'm quite sure that when you say KMail to use a mail server located at localhost, it doesn't use smtp, it only moves the mail to your inbox. So you don't see anything in the logs. Try a KMail client which is not on the same machine.
