Ok, now I have got a base install on this Ubuntu system of everything I think I
need. MySQL 5 is up and running - it seems that there is a .deb bug in the 4.1x
package, so I am going with MySql 5. (Remember, I have three other successful
installs of web-cyradm on other machines, that are all running various flavors
of Mandrake, so I am not a complete newbie, although I remain pretty dumb....)

I have the 0.5.3 version of web-cyradm.

New problem: I go to the Web-Cyradm home (authenticate) page and enter the
default administrator name and password. Immediately I get a blank white page
with the words "Database error".

I have php-pear and pear-DB installed. What does that message mean? What next?

Thanks in advance.
