How did you tested the login auth? With a Mailclient? Whitch 
Username/password did you use? If you use the Username: cyrus, 
then there is elsewhere a flag witch can be set up to use the 
domain part for authentication. I don't know where to find I 
must read the manual first. Then I can tell you where to find #
this one. If you use sslauthd then it is in man saslauthd:

     -r      Combine the realm with the login (with an '@' sign in between).
             e.g.  login: "foo" realm: "bar" will get passed as login:
             "[EMAIL PROTECTED]".  Note that the realm will still be passed, 
which may
             lead to unexpected behavior.
