How did you tested the login auth?
exact command line is: # cyradm -u [EMAIL PROTECTED] localhost I can use the CLI interface just fine with these credentials.
With a Mailclient? Whitch Username/password did you use?
Testing the cyrus login is just done via command line, there is no mailbox for the (cyrus) admin user.
If you use the Username: cyrus, then there is elsewhere a flag witch can be set up to use the domain part for authentication. I don't know where to find I must read the manual first. Then I can tell you where to find # this one. If you use sslauthd then it is in man saslauthd:
No I'm not using saslauthd, only auxprop with a a postgres database in the background. The user 'cyrus' is only defined in the /etc/ sasldb2 file, not in the database.
Authentication from command line works fine, the problem is that web- cyradm seems to take the domain name from our internal domain, and I have no Idea why...
