Hello,
To web2py be more flexible I think internal messages (like 'Invalid
login') must be T('internal message'). If language file does not
exist, ok, the effect will be same with both code, but if there is a
language file, user can translate this.
I think it is more logic to translate this strings in translation page
(and lang-files.py), not in code, changing something like:
auth.messages.logged_in = 'Usuário autenticado'
So, I propose to change all 'default strings' to T('default strings').
Example, in gluon/*.py we have to change:
gluon/tools.py: class Auth: all self.messages.*
gluon/sqlhtml.py: class SQLFORM, def __init__: submit_button='Submit',
delete_label='Check to delete:'
gluon/valitadors.py: all self.error_message
gluon/widget.py: some strings
etc.
