Web2py will never be ported to Python 3 (this is a lie, it was ported twice but it will never be official because it would break our promise of backward compatibility). We are working on web3py. It will work on Python 3 and Python 2. It will be different from web2py but, when on Python 2 it will run legacy web2py code.
