Heh, everybody is registering hyped .io domains these days. Why do you think this one is relevant?

Someone else will have to comment on why PyPI is stuck on web2py 2.1.1. Also, saying "on IRC" is like saying "on the web". Which IRC channel did you ask this on and who answered? And why is he/she's answer authoritative in some way?
