Hello, just a thought about the DAL Its independent of web2py framework as i know and its a pitty that only we, web2pynians know about it.
There is for example http://sequelizejs.com/ that is for nodejs enviroment as DAL is for python environment. ( not as beauty as DAL, but....) So i ask you experts why not free DAL on the internet as an independent ORM for Python world ? Maybe you could get more people to contribute and some will come for web2py after it.
