The company will be using web2py for its application development. It is a Canadian company. The business is satellite communications technology development. The company has invented a new vastly more efficient modulation algorithm to be licensed to the world’s satellite modem manufacturers. Unlike terrestrial bandwidth, satellite resources (bandwidth and power) are very precious. This technology is capable of saving 50 percent of bandwidth, as compared to today’s leading products, with no tradeoffs whatsoever. In other words, the modulation efficiency of their new technology is double of what was thought possible. The shares are being sold now to raise capital for preparing the product and legal documentation for a public offering. To date, the cost of the development was covered by investment from the developers only. It would be only consistent that additional shares are also held by like-minded computer science enthusiasts. The current share price is a fraction of dollar, same as the ones paid by the original developers so when the price significantly increases at the public offering, a handsome profit may be realized. The market is global and there is no competition. All leading satellite modem manufacturers will have use this technology to remain competitive. The objective on the web2py forum posting would be for example to sell $500 worth of shares to each of 100 forum members, thereby raising $50,000 so that the guys can prepare the paperwork for licensing and to conduct more in-depth testing.
