reading this again.... I incorrectly read the title as "[Permission to raise funds for web2py] [friendly hi-tech business?]" and did not understand it. then I read it again as "Permission to raise funds for [web2py-friendly] hi-tech business?" and now I understand your post.
This is a tricky one. We have to make these rules as we go so here is a tentative set of rules: 1) If your company is using web2py it is OK to inform people about what your company does but make sure you explain what the role of web2py is in the organization 2) it is ok to post a link to your company if the linked page explicitly mentions web2py or uses web2py 3) it is NOT ok to explicitly solicit sales of a product that is not based on web2py. So I guess you have accomplished 1). You cannot do 3) but you can write a page somewhere about it and post a link compatibly with 2). Anyway, what your company does sounds interesting and promising.
