I have this custom field Widget
....
Field('cliente', widget=SQLFORM.widgets.autocomplete(request,
db.clientes.razon, limitby=(0, 10), min_length=1))
...
And this function in the <script>
$("#cliente").change(function(){
alert($("#cliente input").val()); //
});/*cierro Change*/
alert($("#cliente input").val()); -> this returns ONLY the string that i
have typed, but i want to get of the value of the selection
